JET SKI MANDATORY Requirements



  1. All guests 18 years and older must present a valid government-issued photo I.D. that includes their date of birth
  2. Guests ages 16–17 must also present a valid government-issued photo I.D. with date of birth to operate their own jet ski
  3. Photocopies and digital I.D.s are not accepted
  1. Completing a Boater Safety Test online (CLICK HERE), or
  2. Presenting a valid Florida Boater Safety License
  • LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT: Jet ski operators must be able to speak and understand English well enough to follow verbal instructions and read safety labels without assistance.
  • AGE & SUPERVISION:
  1. Guests must be 18 years or older to participate independently.
  2. Guests under 18 must have a natural or adoptive parent present at check-in to complete required waivers.


JET SKI AGE & PARTICIPATION Requirements



  • AGES 4–13:
  1. Cannot operate a jet ski
  2. May ride as a passenger only with a guest 18+
  3. A parent or legal guardian must be present with valid I.D. to sign the waiver
  • AGES 14–17:
  1. May drive or ride only with a guest 18+ on the jet ski
  2. A parent or legal guardian must be present with valid I.D. to sign the waiver
  3. Cannot operate a jet ski with a passenger ages 4–15
  4. If two minors (ages 16–17) share a jet ski, both must meet all driving requirements
  • AGES 16–17: May operate their own jet ski if:
  1. A valid government-issued I.D. is presented
  2. The Boater Safety Test is completed
  3. A parent or legal guardian is present at check-in with valid I.D.
  • AGES 18+ May operate a jet ski if:
  1. A valid government-issued I.D. is presented, AND
  2. They were born before 1988 or have completed a Boater Safety Test
  3. May ride as a passenger with valid I.D. If sharing a jet ski, only one adult must meet operating requirements


JET SKI Additional Safety Rules



  • A safety lanyard (key) must be attached to the driver at all times
  • Maximum 3 guests per jet ski
  • Maximum combined weight: 460 lbs (225 kg)

GUESTS CANNOT PARTICIPATE IF THEY:

  • Are under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  • Are pregnant
  • Have any medical conditions that could put themselves or others at risk
  • Are 3 years old or younger
  • Are 18 years or older and do not have a valid government-issued photo I.D. and the credit card used for purchase
  • Are unable to quickly understand or follow spoken instructions in English.
